Various ideas, expand database to include other collections, add more themes to GUI, allow networking, more languages.

Why not add categories for other collections such as a music section, software section, photo section, book section etc. An all round collectors data base would be much more appealing to me, than having to buy separate data base...

Let me import a list of UPC symbol barcodes that will autopopulate my db.

I want to import a text file, for example, of a list of all the UPC symbol barcodes of the DVDs/videos that I own. It will then take each barcode, create a db entry for it and populate it with the data on IMDB. I also want to be able to export...

People could like to add movies to their collection to trakt.tv. You should use their api to add the movies to the user collection or to a custom list(for instance "my BD movies" to list what movies someone has in BluRay format)

Let me scan the UPC symbol barcode with my webcam to add my DVDs and videos, like Movienizer lets me.

I want to use my webcam to scan the barcode on my DVD/VHS (yea, I know) covers to add the title to my library. It should then go out and get ALL the info from IMDB (US). Typing in the barcode is too old style. Other apps have had the barcode...
